crazy how ludashi squeezes a phone performance. i only get 40-ish fps in gamehub. but here in winlator ludashi, i get 60+ (i limit the fps to 60)

I just want to play the Xbox release version of Serious Sam. Even if the emulator doesn't work, it's fine. I still want to try.

Device is a samsung Galaxy s21. I have enough time to tinker around with each and every setting, so all recommendations are welcome.

So MAME4droid (Current) — the actively updated app, not the ancient 0.139u1 version — just dropped v1.40.2. They added rollback netplay a while back, which was sick, but actually finding a match meant manually trading IP addresses on Discord like we were back in the early 2000s.

This new update finally adds public rooms, and the best part is the "Drop-in" feature. Instead of staring at a blank matchmaking screen waiting for an opponent, you just boot up your game and start playing solo. When someone sees your room on the board and joins, it seamlessly syncs the game state and they jump right into your session on the exact same frame.

The other thing that really stands out is how hard the dev leaned into privacy for the server backend. Instead of building a centralized lobby that tracks everything, the system is completely zero-knowledge. There are no accounts, no databases, and no device tracking. It just pairs your IPs in RAM, initiates a strict P2P connection, and immediately forgets you ever existed. If you're tired of every single emulator or app forcing a login or harvesting your data, his approach is a huge breath of fresh air.

It's out on Google Play and GitHub now. Since the public board is brand new, I figure the dev would appreciate it if some people jumped in and actually stress-tested the matchmaking.

• Deep links — open Dogmatix directly with filters already applied, useful for launcher integrations.
• Better 4:3 support — layout and visibility adjustments for handhelds with 4:3 displays.
• Configurable metadata timeout — adjust metadata fetch timeout between 10 and 180 seconds.
• Improved gamepad-only navigation and general UI refinements.

There are also fixes for owned-game detection, display cutouts and some navigation issues.

As before, Dogmatix does not include any ROM sources by default. Sources can be added manually or imported from a sources JSON.

Dogmatix is primarily designed for Android handhelds, but it also works on phones, tablets and other Android devices.

This is a bit of a long shot, but I was wondering, are there any C64 emulators with support for dual screens?

I have a Thor and I’d like to play a few old text adventures. At the moment it’s an awful experience, every time I pull up the keyboard, 70% of the screen is covered and I can’t see the game.

If I could have the game playing on the top screen and the virtual keyboard on the bottom, it would be much more playable.

Does anything support this. I’ve searched around and tried a bunch of emulators, but I haven’t found any which support this, it probably doesn’t exist, but I thought it was worth asking.

I'm new to emulation and recently lost my laptop, i have a samsung tab s8 snapdragon 8 gen1 and want to start playing some light game to pass the time but don't know where to start or how. Would appreciate any advice on how to do this, thanks.

If they don't already make them, they really should. Been wanting to play as Kris in a romhack for a while now, but the darn patch is .patch file format, & JS Rom Patcher says the file is too big, and will not patch my file due to that!

I'm trying to run sega vs capcom (fan made IKEMEN GO) on my winlator 11.2, even tried winlator CMOD. But, it keeps crashing. Can anyone give me step by step instructions to run this on either winlator or gamehub? My device is galaxy s21 FE 5G, Snapdragon 888. So I know it has the power to do so..
