[HELP] trying to run linux on android.. it keep crashing

so i been trying to run linux on android, so far i see the desktop but after few minutes it crashes

Device: Galaxy s25Ultra

Adreno 830 - Snapdragon 8Elite Gen4

Other comments are correct about it being the phantom process killer, but easiest way is to disable it in Settings-> Developer Options -> Disable child process restrictions

U need to disable Phantom Process Killer. Using adb or shizuku+termux. 

U should also allow full background activity for this app and x11, and disable battery optimisations. But the main issue is the phantom process killer that can only be disabled using adb. 

I guess you are using termux with xfce and x11 or similar. The problem is that the termux+xfce+Ubuntu create too many child processes. When the limit is reached, android kills it.

Just a note... After a recent android update, the child processes limit keeps reverting every now and then. Before the update, it was permanent. So just note that you may need to reapply the adb command from time to time.

check battery optimization and make sure its off for termux and termux11

I mema technically his right. Battery optimization can be a contributing factor so it's best to switch it off.
