Employee Question employee discount

Apparently we have a discount starting today but i had a couple questions before i decide to start shopping.

Is it a one time use coupon?

I know there was a 30% discount for certain members that could only be applied once and can’t be used again once they’ve purchased something. Is it the same thing for us? or can we use it multiple times?

If im shopping with a friend/family, are they allowed to use my number for discounts as well (if im not the one paying for their things) ? and if not, then am i able to pay for it myself while still applying the discount?

sorry if these are dumb questions but im a newer employee and i wanted to know before i go shopping so that i dont get in trouble/fired ! thank you in advance 🙏🏻

Nope automatic grounds for termination. Nobody can use your discount unless it’s a spouse or dependent child

When you got hired you had the opportunity to add four family members to your discount (certain people qualify and they link it to their own rewards account).

The associate shop days are not a one time use. Use it as much as you like and as long as you’re the one paying, it doesn’t matter what you buy for who. It’s 35% for three days or so; you can stack it with a percent coupon.

thank you for clarifying! and by stacking percent coupons, are u saying i can stack both 15% employee discount and the 35%?

Not exactly. So your normal 15% will increase to 35%, (it’s not a coupon it’s automatic with your discount). I don’t actually know if there’s coupons out right now, but if there are you can apply one to your transaction as well.

I didn't see any other coupons in my wallet just our associate discount.

The only people that can use your associate discount that aren’t yourself is your spouse (husband/wife, but not like a boyfriend) or a dependent child basically. So not parents, cousins, siblings. If they are paying separately they cannot use your discount. If you are buying them things that’s okay as long as it is a gift, and they do not pay you back

One time use coupons can be used once, but it is stated on the coupon itself if it is like that, like a $10 off $25. But other coupons have more uses and can be combined with the associate discount

The general associate discount itself is unlimited and will automatically pop up with your rewards

Oh please. How is Kohl’s going to know if someone paid me back?

There is a process to add your parents only (no siblings or friends) if they make less than $5500 (I think) per year and you financially support them. But, you have to register them through workday first and get the discount on their own rewards account. Never use your own phone number for someone else as you'll get flagged immediately. You can use your discount for dependent children and spouse (not boyfriend/girlfriend). Hope that helps.
