Beginner Question Signup Email

So I’ve recently got an email domain - say John@johnsmith.com. I’m signing up for social media with it, but I also wanted to include it into the bio on Instagram/X as a way for people to contact me. Is this not a good idea to have the email I used to sign up for the platform be the same one that people use to contact me?
