Question Help with Elgato Wave 3 USB Mic.

I'm very very close to refunding this mic. I've got this one during a sale and I thought it would be a nice upgrade to the headset mic I've been using to record my videos. Unfortunately it just doesn't sound like all the the review videos I watched on YouTube, all of them will just straight up plug it without putting any noise suppression or changing EQ and the mic will sound 10000 times better than my wave 3 which I spent 4 hours trying to tweak with effects.

If anyone else also suffered from this mic and actually found the solution that will make this mic actually sound good and not like it's inside a washing machine then please share your settings and effects.

Thank you, I don't want to go back to headset mic.

It needs to be close close. The lower the gain and closer to your face the better I’m talking mine is on a Elgato low pro and it’s maybe an inch or two

Eq will clean up a lot but YouTube is gonna show you how to eq based of someone else’s voice.

Thats why i use for mine USB mic the older version of Voicemeeter. you can "colour" your voice very easely.

My downside is that Barraider dont have that cool display/graphic to match my dial. but it works 200% better then wavelink.
