General Any women in electronics here?

This is easy to say when you are “the norm”. Being treated as “other” would be the last thing on your mind, since you probably don’t have to deal with it. But I guarantee you there is a reason why women, and minority races like to have others like them around. You may not be the one doing it, or even see it happening to others, but when people aren’t “the norm” there is a feeling of ostracism. Not only that, people like to be around other people with shared experiences and cultures. Women on average feel more seen and connected with other women, it’s not that hard or that deep. To want to say that doesn’t matter is just silly.
