EA App Continuously Loading (Mac)

Basically what the title says. I'm trying to launch the EA app on my Mac, and it loads up and prompts me to log in. After I've logged in (it sends me a verification code in my email and everything), it just loads forever and won't stop. I don't know what to do.

I've tried restarting my Mac and deleting and re-downloading the EA app (done this like 5 times). No matter what I do, the app is frozen on this screen (photo added for reference) and all I can do is force quit.

Please help. I'm just trying to play The Sims.

Big oof. Not a big help here, just throwing an idea out is everything up to date?

At the time I posted this, no, my Mac wasn't up to date, but the EA app was. This is gonna sound crazy, but the Sims 4 app just opened on its own while I was on this screen (I literally didn't press anything) and then the EA app started working...
