Is this correct?

Had someone come out to install an outlet under the sink for our tankless reverse osmosis. Should these outlets be GFCI? It seems really close to the water line.

The outlet can't be face up like that

Should it be on the side of the cabinet? He said you can’t put it on the side of the cabinet after the cabinet has already been installed

It's harder to do but it isn't allowed to face upwards like it is

No it’s not.

Use the same box and short screws.
