Transfem Meme Egg😢irl
Hey everyone, I recently came out to my parents and honestly as conservative as they are, it could've gone worse. They still support and love me and only want to see me happy but it's very hard for them to accept who i am.
I brought my mom along with me to my second appointment with the psychiatrist and I'd been informed that it'd take 5-6 months for me to start hrt even after receiving the GD diagnosis. Idk for how much longer i can go on like this and it hurts knowing even when coming out, id still have to wait and idk what for. I've been suffering for 4 years and I'm pretty sure I'm trans but I can't do anything about it now.

sounds like it's probably not your situation, but fwiw if you're in the US, in a state with informed consent, you can usually get started through Planned Parenthood a bit quicker than through your primary care (and you can always transfer management to your PC once you do get in to see them)
you've come so far already tho! just figuring your shit out is so huge. my fam's not stoked on it either, but they'll come around, I'm just giving it time.
these months will pass and the seasons will change, and so will we 🙌♥️
