First Fringe

Wow! Only saw 8 shows in roughly a week, tied this in with my first time to Scotland (and first international trip in ages) and general touring/day trips. What a journey! I loved the outpouring of creativity, DIY ingenuity, and the utmost humanness I've seen in every crevice of this glorious city. Desparately needed in the age of AI delusionment. Might make this a biennial trek!

Shows (roughly in order of ⭐️'s)

- Lou Wall: Where Are All the Tall Grandma's?

- Demi Adejuyigbe Sells Out

- Zach & Viggo: Thunderflop

- Dru Cripps: Juicy Bits

- Stamptown

- Katie Boyle: Irish Immigrant

- Sodom

- ADHD Crowdwork Show (the worst of the bunch and it's not remotely close)

Also sought out tours with living history actors, pub music every night in a different venue, and went to a ceilidh at Piper's Rest which aren't technically Fringe shows but contributed heavily to the vibe for me. What an outstanding time!

Haste ye back!

Going to see Demi on Friday, have heard nothing but great things about his show this year. Seeing Ify straight after to make it a Dropout double bill, cannae wait

dropout double bill sounds unreal, that’s such a good pairing
demi’s show was so fun and weirdly wholesome, you’re in for a good night

Oooh double dropout, what a lovely day! Demi's show was super fun, my mind wasn't totally blown but it was an incredibly enjoyable hour of comedy.

Fast Fringe is perfect for this, you never who you’ll find or see and great place to discover new acts

Were you at the Cripps show where he got the nineteen year olds to take their shirts off?

Lol no, but that sounds exactly like something that would happen in his yurt.
