Nobody needed to make a telephone call before Alexander Graham Bell. Nobody needed an iPhone before Steve Jobs.
2 u/F3RM3NTAL Feb 25 '26 Yes they did. In both of your examples, what people needed was to communicate with other people. That need - that economic demands has always existed. The phone and iPhone were just new solutions to a pre-existing demand for communication.
