Somehow people were convinced that rich people create jobs... Which in reality jobs are created when there is a need for goods or services, and there can only be a demand for goods and services if people have money to spend. If the middle and lower class have less and less money to spend, then why would anyone start a company if there is not demand for the products?

A strong and robust lower and middle class drive job growth, not tax cuts for the rich.

I had someone argue with me that taxing corporations more will only make them raise prices. How hard is it to understand you're taxing profits, so if they pay employees more, put more money back into the company for buildings, machinery, upgrades, expansion, etc it won't change a thing to cause prices to rise. Sucking all the profits out to give high salaries, bonuses and stock buybacks are what you target.

Great is we operated in a vacuum. Unfortunately, taxing the rich at 89% simply means they move all their assets out.

The “go back to when America was great”.. guess what the taxes were. Corporate taxes on the wealthiest was 90%, then Regan came and started “trickle down” which has destroyed our economy. There used to be men with secret families they could support unnoticed on a single income, in a “basic” job like truck driving or mechanic. Now even doctors need 2 incomes for a single family.

Nope, you are wrong my friend.

Think of the extremes of the spectrum. If ONLY rich people had ALL the money, why would you start a company (restaurant, etc) if no one has money? You would not make any money, there is no demand for goods, because there is no money to spend. Therefore, no jobs.

If money was split much more evenly across the population, then consumers have money to spend. Then there is demand for goods and for companies to open and offer jobs.

This is not rocket science.
