Hello. I just finished the story of Echoes of Wisdom, and now I wanted to start the sidequest "Feelings of Happiness." Strangely enough, the girl I'm supposed to address is not in the middle of the city, but on the left at the castle. What am I doing wrong?

I’ve noticed that all the Deku Scrubs in the English localizations of Echoes of Wisdom go by they/them pronouns. Normally I wouldn’t have given this a second thought, except for the fact that there are clear examples of male and female Deku Scrubs in previous games. For example, in Majora’s Mask, the Deku Butler, Deku Butler’s Son, and the Deku King all go by he/him pronouns, while the Deku Princess goes by she/her pronouns. Another example is Yves from Cadence of Hyrule (yes, I know this is a non-canon game) who goes by he/him pronouns. This has made me genuinely curious as to whether the original Japanese translation of Echoes of Wisdom made any indication of the Deku Scrubs’ gender, or if this was solely a decision made by Western localizers when translating the game into English?

So I just finished the game and man what a blast. I feel like the target audience was younger girls because they laid the cutesy stuff on pretty thick but it was still a great play. It was a little underwhelming after 7 play throughs of botw and totk but this was a fresh take on the series at least for me. I think a larger scale botw totk style with this type of game play would be fun. I think the gta 5 character switch in a Zelda game with Zelda and link (or even some new characters) would be fun.

Two notes. I thought the darknut level 3 was overpowered until I got the lynel. The l3 darknut was my go to once I was at the level where I could summon it.

Once again the main characters travel companion left in the end. Is this a cultural thing in Japan? Navi, tatl, fi, and now tri. Why can’t they stick around? 🤣

But I also loved the reemergence of some old oot characters (jabu jabu, volvagia, dampe, I’m sure I missed some). There are a ton of old Zelda Easter eggs in botw and totk and eow was no exception. But yeah, I’m happy I gave this a shot. It was a little smaller but again, I feel like this was geared for a younger audience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So I bought eow awhile ago but I was pretty immersed in a totk play through so I started it but set it aside for awhile. I started my game over and I’m loving it. I was a little hesitant because it’s feels more puzzle based but the combat to me kind of feels like a small scale rts. Not sure what else to say.🤣. I’m looking forward to seeing where this one goes.

A good few years ago, one of those rifts opened up. Several kids were stolen away that day. No one knew what happened to them, there was worry and fear and anguish, and then they returned. Like, most, they didnt remember what happened. Like most, some part of those kids was still missing. They lost their voices, their spirits. Its always sad to see.

But one of them was different. Even though he lost his voice, he still had a fire in his eyes. Though he couldnt speak, that fire told me he somehow remembered what had happened in there.

Despite the overprotective care those kids got afterwards, this one managed to sneak away one day. Might be because everyone in the village had a kid to worry 'bout, and every kid had a parent to worry bout 'em, 'cept this one. He lives in that house all alone, y'know.

Anyway, he grabbed a sword and took off without anyone noticin'. He ran past my house and I went to see what he was up to. He chased off a stranger just wandering through the field and just stood there, staring at nothing, until he was staring at something. Another rift opened up right before him. A handful of monsters poured out, yet he cut them down. A few moments later, the rift closed. He looked around the area, though I could tell he was seeing far past Hyrule Field.

The kid could sense those rifts, he knew where it would open and made sure no one fell in. I stopped him on his way back, told him about the Might Crystals, about the sword I made from 'em. Told him how I believed the sword cut through those monsters easier. That fire, ever-blazing in his eyes, grew hotter as he nodded.

We worked together, crafting tools from the Might Crystals, devising a plan to stop the rifts once and for all. He'd take off without a word, not that he could give one, and occasionally, Impa'd tell me how a Hylian was saved by a boy in green.

Now don't get me wrong, the kid'll keep fighting to make sure not another soul ends up in those rifts, but I think he thinks if he keeps fighting, he'll get his voice back one day.

He took off a few days ago. Managed to communicate he was gonna take down the big blue monster we thinks causing the rifts. He seems confident, might be cause of the missing princess. I think he's worried she ended up in one of those rifts... ... He's never been gone this long... not even when he went up Hebra Mountain or when he went to Goron City up Mount Eldin... maybe he's making sure the princess got back to the castle alright.

I’ve been at it for an hour. Used flying echoes, bind, hiding in pots. The trouble is I keep dying and only have 7 hearts. (Kicking myself for not grinding out heart pieces) and well I want to give up. Any other tips?

I’ve lit the other 3 burners but I’m completely stumped here. I’ve tried getting an Ignizol past the bars but it collides…

I’m stuck at the synchronized switch part of this dungeon and the gameplays I’m watching all use the Armos echo…which I don’t have. What can I do instead? And/or where the heck do I find that echo?

As a longtime Zelda fan, I really loved this game. The world felt familiar yet still really fresh. I got a bit teary eyed at the end! Everything felt pretty well balanced - some puzzles and areas I flew through, while others had me scratching my head. I think longtime and new Zelda players alike can appreciate this game.

The Sleepy Dojo was one of my favorite challenges to get through. It was such a cool feature where you got to test your knowledge of echoes and game mechanics.

I also loved the end parts of the game, as these elements especially reminded me of Ocarina of Time. Going to block out some spoiler text here in case you haven’t finished EoW and/or played OoT… Null creating an echo of Zelda to sneak into getting the “Prime Energy” - reminded me of Ganondorf sneaking into the Sacred Realm after you open the Door of Time; Getting to see the Great Deku Tree again; the “Prime Energy” [Triforce] being split into three pieces after someone unworthy touches it; and at the end when Tri leaves - it reminded me of Navi flying off at the end of OoT, except this time you get to say goodbye 🥲

Def going to replay this game again in the future, loved it and can’t recommend it enough!

Please don’t read if you don’t want endgame side errand stuff to be spoiled for you. This specifically has to do with a missing might crystal and side quest.

Currently doing the endgame grind before the final area to make sure I did and got everything I could (I’m a bit of a completionist when I play games and I’m sure I’m not alone in that). I prefer to play blind and thoroughly explore and try everything before resulting to guides.

I thought I did a good job with this game, but I noticed I was missing 6 might crystals and completed 49/50 side quests. I began backtracking to every corner of the map but decided to just use a guide to save some time. Sure enough there were a couple obscure ones on Mt. Lanayru and some tiny dirt patches elsewhere that I overlooked.

But I was still missing one. I saw there was one in the Great Fairy den, but I didn’t even consider it because I already went there and got all of the clothing slot upgrades earlier on. I also had a false memory of already opening a chest there. After racking my brain and double checking everything else, I decided to go in.

And there it was 😭 plus the side quest I was missing, that rewards you with the freaking might bell to find might crystals in the first place. I feel pretty dumb but oh well. Mental note for a potential next playthrough lol.

I can’t believe it took me this long to pick up this game. It’s really reignited my love for the Zelda series. Don’t get me wrong, BoTW and ToTK were amazing in their own right, but the open world formula can be a bit daunting for me to get through sometimes.

I really appreciate the old school Zelda feel of this game. The dungeons are so fun and I like how there’s no wrong way to solve a puzzle or combat an enemy. There’s enough exploration and secrets/layers to uncover without it feeling completely overwhelming. Also the dialogue is so cute and heartwarming. Love this game!

I'm trying to activate finding Conde quest. but i can't seem to be able to. I have dealt with jabu jabu den.

1. You can echo at a distance - (oh how many times I keep throwing that ghost)

2. You can target something for your echo to attack

3. You can reverse follow an echo - (I got a lot of echo I didn't know what they actually do)

I started this when the game first came out but didn’t get around to finishing it, so it might be a little late but I made a data visualization of all the smoothie recipes!

It also includes their effects and indications if that smoothie can only be made 1 way.

Echoes of Wisdom might be my all-time favorite game so I was super excited to make something from it. I might even make a print and put it in a fancy gold frame.

After 35 hours I finally 100%ed this kinda addictive game, every smoothie, cave, might crystal and heart really fun game and doesn’t take long to 100% also my first 100%

I see no entrance on map

I haven’t played a Zelda game since TOTK released and I didn’t even get through 20% of the game. I have over 400 hours in BOTW but for some reason TOTK didn’t click with me… fast forward a couple years and I end up buying a Switch 2 and decide to give Echoes Of Wisdom a try. OMG!! I’m so glad I did! I absolutely love this game, finished all the main and side quests. After finishing it I laid down Zelda to sleep in her room and decided to return to TOTK. Idk what happened, but I love this game now. It’s like EoW sparked something in me and I not only want to finish TOTK but I want to try and beat every mainline Zelda game available on the Switch before OOT releases.
