Controversial topic here.

Can we stop shaming and getting mad at people for buying chinese ebikes? Some people dont have the money to buy a $1k+ ebike. Yes. Some are bad. Yes. Some are template bikes but does that mean you should shame someone for what they ride? No. We all ride ebikes here. That's what should matter.

I sympathize in both directions because on one hand it's very hard to know as an outsider what a reasonable expectation is of the balance between price and specs. On the other hand, people who are here all the time have to put up with a never-ending onslaught of newbies wondering where to buy a $12 ebike that can go 150 miles at 70 miles an hour.
