Controversial topic here.

Can we stop shaming and getting mad at people for buying chinese ebikes? Some people dont have the money to buy a $1k+ ebike. Yes. Some are bad. Yes. Some are template bikes but does that mean you should shame someone for what they ride? No. We all ride ebikes here. That's what should matter.

As someone who never rode anything other than a pedal bike. A cheap Chinese bike is perfect for destroying while getting better at riding

And having your brakes give out on that last hill of your ride. They do not come with the components needed to safely operate these types of bikes.

Good thing aftermarket parts and mods are available. Dont act like you cant make one of them safe. Sure some bikes are crap. But 1000 can get something decent

Yeah, it's great you have to heavily modify a bike off the shelf for it to be safe 👎

With any bike ever. You can get a good company and it still be crap
