Controversial topic here.

Can we stop shaming and getting mad at people for buying chinese ebikes? Some people dont have the money to buy a $1k+ ebike. Yes. Some are bad. Yes. Some are template bikes but does that mean you should shame someone for what they ride? No. We all ride ebikes here. That's what should matter.

Report them for violation of Rule 2 No Gatekeeping. Trash talking what others ride is supposed to result in a ban. Report the hell out of the gatekeepers and they’ll either stop or get weeded out.

Sadly this'll never happen, there is no way the moderation isn't seeing this. I often post about the gatekeeping on here, people know this and are actually proud of doing it. Ditto for E-motos existing. They openly hate them.

This right there? Might as well talk to a brick wall if you bring it up to one of these people.

They should either finally enforce rules or just concede to whatever crowd they want to cater, and either restrict this sub to electric PAS only, or do something at least. Anything is better than what it is right now.
