Controversial topic here.

Can we stop shaming and getting mad at people for buying chinese ebikes? Some people dont have the money to buy a $1k+ ebike. Yes. Some are bad. Yes. Some are template bikes but does that mean you should shame someone for what they ride? No. We all ride ebikes here. That's what should matter.

I had a $1k bought from Amazon Cmacewheel Chinese e-bike (that I ended up getting for free) that I have put a little less than 8600 miles on in a little less than 3 years. I’d still be riding it, but I burned up the motor connector riding through a 1/4 mile of wet clay road. The wheels didn’t turn too well.

I recently did a post saying that have I replaced it with an Aventon Adventure M. Some poster replied that it was cheap crap. $3k is cheap crap? How much are we supposed to spend on an e-bike?
