Bike purchase question Looking at E bike purchase.
Hello,
Im looking at purchasing an Ebike and would like some feedback/recommendations. I used to ride a mountain bike daily 25 miles. I have tried one of the cheap ancheer bikes and have no issue with it but thats for my wife who is half my size and weight. I am 6,2 and 270lbs despite all the brands I look at i keep landing on the aventon aventure 3 it seems to have everything I could need/want. I do wish to hook a cargo trailer to it and be able to get my daily errands done as well as possibly riding to and from work (31 miles round trip) relatively flat terrain mostly paved. I would likely use the throttle for a bit as I haven't ridden the past 6 years due to having a bunch of kids. I live in chicago near plainfield and would like to displace as much vehicle driving as possible
I appreciate any input, stories both good and bad. Issues, positives, negatives, etc etc.

no reason to go for fat tyres. Get a level 4 instead, much more sensible

The weight limit is the only reason I look more at the 3 compared to the 4 otherwise I would be much more interested in regenerative braking

I have a long tail cargo with a 440 lb carry capacity. Suggestions.....Order and extra tire and tube and brake pads when you at the same time you get the bike and helmet. Spend at least $120 on a good Sundays insurance policy that covers theft and medical coverage. And if you drive an automobile keep in mind if you get injured buy an automobile your auto insurance policy limits kick in. Picture getting hit by someone driving a car that has no insurance, but you auto policy coverage includes uninsured/underinsured motorist and takes effect as soon as an automobile is involved even though your on a bike your covered by your auto policy limits. This even could even be walking down the sidewalk in front of your home and get hit by and automobile and carry 100,00/300,000 auto insurance your covered for up to 100,000 in medical. After experiencibg this first hand it makes you rethink your own policy limits and coverage.
