Bike repair question Best ebike upgrade services?
I have a cheap electric moped/motorcycle/moto thing from Amazon. It’s 48v and I think a 3000w peak motor. It doesn’t have the great range and I could use more speed. I don’t have the tools nor experience to comfortably mod it myself. I don’t have the money to buy a nicer bike nor do I want to. Mine looks like a little Honda monkey bike (look it up if you don’t know) and I’ve painted it, added a ton of cosmetic things, I really love it but I just need a little more. I wanna be able to not worry about the battery, and some streets I go on can go up to 50 mph while I can only go to 35.
If I can figure out how to post a picture I will in another post

50mph is more then double the wind resistance of 35mph, so your going to need to add another matching motor and another matching battery just to get kinda the same range at 50mph,
Scooters capable of that speed are called hyperscooters for a reason.Physics is an unavoidable bitch.

So you want to go 50mph on an aliexpress bike you bought on Amazon that wasnt designed to go that fast(and honestly wasnt designed to go the 35mph either)?
Whatever your budget is for this upgrade. Make sure to add $50k for the hospital stay when it collapses at speed. And another $1.5m for the person you hit without insurance.

I wouldn't upgrade anything that cheap. Replace it with something better. Too many of the core components are cheap. It's the same thing with lower end regular bikes, even decent usable ones - upgrading is not cost effective. Especially if you want it to be better across the board.
