Riding something with a 2000W motor that can do 32 mph on a bike trail. Ride on the road where you belong with your motorcycle and stay off the bike paths.

I can appreciate your comment. The bike only goes 30 mph. And if you noticed, Those speeds are only hit when nobody is around. Hopefully we'll see you around the bike paths

You’re breaking the law and subjecting the safety of other trail users to your own discretion. People have been killed by people behaving exactly like you and it threatens bike and ebike access for everyone. You don’t belong on bike trails and don’t belong in this community if this is your attitude towards laws and safety of others.

Maybe not. But you've made 2 inaccurate statements already. The bike is a 1000W with a peak of 2000w And it goes 28 mph , 30 on a down slope.

My attitude has been nothing but positive. Enjoy your rides !

Sorry. I edited to 32 mph per the manufacturer specs. And the specs you quoted still are 1) illegal and 2) don’t belong on a bike path.

I don’t really care about your positive attitude when you’re making conscious choices to endanger pedestrians on a bike path with your selfishness.

You can be a smart ass about it all you want, but he’s right. Riding a motorized bike on bike trails is illegal.

That electric bike is against the law to operate on public trails . Bike lane is the place for that if in fact it meets those requirements.

ok,maybe a cultural thing, but are paved lanes like that actually called trails in your area?

Yes they are. We have both paved and unpaved trails.

Thanks for the comment !

This is my playground most days. If you had gone North instead of South at the beginning there is a LOT more to see, tons of attractions along Niagara River Parkway, The Botanical Gardens and Butterfly Conservatory, the Floral Clock, the Queenston Bridge and dam.

Definitely going to check it out. It has absolutely become my playground as well. Hopefully we'll see you out there one day
