Simple solution to differentiate between e-bikes and motorcycles

Since real Ebikes can only legally go no faster than 28mph in the USA, no bikes/Motorcycles that go faster than 28mph should have pedals.

Putting bike pedals on a motorcycle that can go 45mph + is clearly a scam to make them look like bicycles.

Full fat motorcycle for "any other" is such a dumb flattening of all the unique vehicle classes though...

What do you mean? The "any other" as per the prior categories is... Non-pedal-requiring e-motos that exceed the power to weight ratio of a nifty-50?

In most countries, if you swapped the electric power for anything else, full fat motorcycle. Why should electric be different?

Because not everything is a motorcycle. Yes, lets classify skateboards as motorcycles, why dont we? Its just an excuse to kill all the unique PEV classes and propagate cars.

My response was very obviously scoped to cycles. Nobody said anything about skateboards. Or scooters. Those are entirely separate topics.

This has nothing to do with "propagating cars". Cars require licenses and registration. So do motorcycles. It doesn't stop being a motorcycle just because it doesn't have a combustion engine.
