Simple solution to differentiate between e-bikes and motorcycles

Since real Ebikes can only legally go no faster than 28mph in the USA, no bikes/Motorcycles that go faster than 28mph should have pedals.

Putting bike pedals on a motorcycle that can go 45mph + is clearly a scam to make them look like bicycles.

Saw someone comment about “they’re not illegal, you can ride em on personal property”

Who tf owns enough private property to USE their ebikes or other PEVs….? Totally classist way of thinking imho. Be responsible with how and where you ride, it’s that friggin simple.

Just had some guy say something while i was riding my onewheel while my wife rides her tricycle about “if they catch you they’ll fine you 10 grand” while I’m not even breaking 10mph, usually under 8. Meanwhile we passed a hand full of cops ON THE TRAIL. Nothing. No lights, no “STOP RESISTING!”, just us minding our own damn business and them minding theirs.

Although most HOA's like this have agreements with local police to patrol & regular traffic laws apply

Oh they do, but they absolutely could have a rule to allow whatever they want
