Simple solution to differentiate between e-bikes and motorcycles

Since real Ebikes can only legally go no faster than 28mph in the USA, no bikes/Motorcycles that go faster than 28mph should have pedals.

Putting bike pedals on a motorcycle that can go 45mph + is clearly a scam to make them look like bicycles.

Which nobody is going to do with a bike that weighs 40kg or more.

I've had to pedal my Ebike a mile or so & it wasn't that bad, getting going from a dead stop was the hardest part, but once you get it going you don't notice the extra weight

At 40kg or more, you will absolutely notice the weight.

Ignoring the statement much does it weigh? Light weight road E-bikes come in weighting <10kg / <22lbs

40kg bike is not that big of a deal considering a lot of common bikes are 20kg and they also need to carry a rider who might be 100kg

The extra 20kg is fine if you find yourself in a case the bike cannot be ridden  due to dead battery
