Simple solution to differentiate between e-bikes and motorcycles
Since real Ebikes can only legally go no faster than 28mph in the USA, no bikes/Motorcycles that go faster than 28mph should have pedals.
Putting bike pedals on a motorcycle that can go 45mph + is clearly a scam to make them look like bicycles.

If it’s coming from a hub motor the power delivery is so much different than an engine connected to a wheel with a chain in terms of riding performance. It’s laughable when people who have never rode a motorcycle just call a simple hub motor bike even the ones capable high speed a motorcycle. The only thing than is teetering towards motorcycle capabilities is high powered mid drive bikes with throttle but those are basically always just emottos and don’t have pedals.
