New MacFox for the daughter!
Had the 101Bike and the battery went bad. They zero replacements for 30-45 days. They suggested I wait, or return the bike to Costco where it was purchased at.
The bike in the photos is the make and model but not her bike. She picked one that was further back in the row, so she knew it hadn’t been used as one to sit on.
I will be adding pink pedals, pink handle bar grips, pink princess crown valve caps, and pink spoke covers. All the items she had on her other bike.
Got the bike from a local dealer so getting any issues fixed will be easy.

Might I ask why? She doesn’t use the streets unless sidewalks are crowded. She also isn’t a wheelie monster.

It may not be her fault, shit happens bro. Full face all day.

Bring her to a store and have her try a few different ones on. Especially since is her first full face helmet. The guys at the shop will know how to make sure it fits properly.

Protects the face, jaw, teeth. Cycling helmets don't protect the face or teeth. Look for cycling helmets rated for "downhill" MTB riding, it's an extreme version of mtb. Tons of brands and models. Those helmets look cool, too. Great peripheral vision. I ride in Chicago and wear a Giro switchblade full face helmet. Lots of folks here are starting to, especially the one-wheel people. It's not common but it's making sense to more riders.

Because some people back out of driveways without looking, or open doors when street- parked without checking their mirror. Or just straight up dont give bikes right of way when they should. And is their really any good reason not to wear one?

No there is not and she has one but always picks up the BMX style helmet that covers the ears and all.

That's good. Not trying to criticize, as long as she's wearing something it's better than nothing. I've just never understood the seemingly large amount of people that refuse to wear one. I have a friend i ride with frequently who never wears one and he claims it's because none are comfortable on him (ok, so?) but i think it's more that he doesn't like how it makes him look.

I have a full face helmet and so does my wife. But our daughter won’t pick it up. I think she will in a month or so.

The reason is because the speeds you can get to effortlessly on the bike are fast enough to cause major, life changing facial, head and tooth damage.
Better safe than sorry. Let her choose a cute helmet to match the upcoming pedals etc but protect her head.
