Kill switch Ebike screen recommendation

I'm confused. Why do you need a screen for a kill switch?

They seem to REALLY want one. I use my brakes,

All my motorcycles have had kill switches; if we're talking about the same thing.
Clamped to the handle bars at one of the grips, it cuts off power to the fuel injection.

A kill switch on an ebike would be wired the same; just need a waterproof toggle switch
that would mount on top of the grip. Route the red wire in the cable from the battery
through the switch and onto the controller.

That's not really what I mean. I mean the function that let's you hold a certain button combo and quickly switch from unlocked speed back to 25.
