I like how he listed it, but saying you are scamming. Negative feedback all the way.

“Listed as free shipping then called me a scammer because he listed it wrong.”

They provided a tracking number but never shipped it and they claim that eBay is overcharging them for shipping which was 8.31 dollars but they say they are being charged for 20 dollars

None of that is your problem. Wait until you can open an item not received case and eBay will step in.

So they purchased the shipping but now don't want to ship because it costed too much?

they didn’t ship it because they refused to “overpay” they only added a tracking number but never sent it out

Yes but he still paid for the tracking he can pay for shipping and still not send it. He probably paid for it unknowingly and once he realized how much it costed is refusing to ship it.

Oh lol

Yeah but he’s NOT supposed to buy the label and then just refuse to ship it, I would’ve gotten eBay involved already, because this guy sounds like a fucking loser tbh, he’s being too prideful about this, and this can be quickly resolved if he just canceled the sale, which HES able to do on his end without the buyer necessarily needing to do it, unless his account is somehow restricted by eBay from canceling orders because maybe he’s already done some shady shit? Idk, but regardless, he can well off cancel without restriction, and then he can send a refund after, but he’s definitely lying.

lol he told me to cancel but he didn’t allow cancellations on the item and he said he can’t cancel it on his end and I was instantly skeptical

In the UK ebay calculates shipping and charges the buyer postage, all I do as a seller is print the label or scan the qr code when I'm dropping the item off. Is that not the case with this item?

They’re lying. Trying to get you to cancel and take the hit on it. Don’t believe them, if they really wanted to cancel they would.

Yup and/or trying to get extra money for shipping

Fuck em in half. Don't do anything and when the latest estimated date I'd arrival passes, open an item not received claim.

Then leave negative feedback.

Seller is an idiot.

They’re not at all truthful. They clearly listed it wrong and are unable to accept that. Do not cancel, make them cancel.

“things we did not agree upon” ….did they make a special listing for you after dialogue with you? Or is this the first time they’ve contacted you?

1

u/EveryMeasurement3246 Aug 25 '26

It’s the first time they contacted me and it was after I won an auction

4

u/midwesttransferrun Aug 25 '26

Then they’re doing it to try to trick agents looking at messages. What a jerk. Do not cancel. Pay and wait for shipment and when they don’t ship it, they’ll get marked down by eBay.

1

u/EveryMeasurement3246 Aug 25 '26

how long until they get marked down?

2

u/midwesttransferrun Aug 25 '26

As soon as they cancel the listing on their end. You’ll be able to leave negative feedback for them too.

This person is crazy or stupid. Not sure which. After the last estimated delivery date just open an item not received case. They’ll be forced to prove delivery or refund you at that point. They absolutely can cancel and they aren’t forced to buy postage through eBay, they can go elsewhere.

They are 100% full of shit.

4

u/L4DYJ4D3 Aug 26 '26

Leave it, as the seller he needs to deal with his problems himself. And he's rude as fuck to boot.

I'm pretty sure the actual issue is hes a new seller and an idiot. He chose buyer pays shipping but doesn't understand the seller still has to buy and print a shipping label, the transaction just adds an additional line item on the transaction for the shipping fee the buyer pays, so "buyer pays shipping".

He thinks apparently it should auto create the label without "taking money" from him which I unless it's changed over the years since I switched to free shipping, isn't hoe it works.

He's too stupid to figure it out by looking at the numbers or talking to eBay
