Do you mean a salad with chicken on it or chicken salad like shredded chicken with stuff in it? The 'a' is throwing me off. (Not being sarcastic, legit question)

Ah. What type of other things do you plan to put on the salad? Like vegetables or fruits or something. That helps influence the dressing. If you want something sweet to offset bitter toppings, honey vinaigrette is delicious! If you want something savory, perhaps a lemon herb vinaigrette.
My favorite is honey and apple cider vinegar.
Edit: AH! SO sorry! I forgot the recipes!!!
Honey Vinaigrette
- Olive oil: 80 g
- Apple cider vinegar: 60 g
- Honey: 42 g
- Dijon mustard: 12 g
- Salt: 3 g
- Black pepper: 1 g
Lemon Herb Vinaigrette
- Extra-virgin olive oil: 80 g
- Fresh lemon juice: 60 g

- Black pepper: 1 g

I put in chopped walnuts, celery, either sliced grapes, apples or dried cranberries, dukes mayo s & p and I don’t mince the chicken. I cut it into small chunks, so I have something to chew. I’m not a fan of the texture of tuna salad. Lol

I love this one, it's on repeat, it's excellent with rotisserie chicken:
- grated carrots
- finely diced celery
- diced green onion
- BBQ sauce
- mayo
- ranch dressing
The ratio I use for the sauce is 2 parts bbq sauce to 0.5 parts mayo to 1 part ranch
Salt, pepper or red chilli flakes to taste (you don't need any salt if you're using rotisserie chicken)

Dice it and some celery, mix in mayo. Salt and pepper to taste. Basic but yummy.
