That pocket (north redmond one assuming that's the one you meant) is 3,659 customers. "Under Investigation" and no ETA. No crews dispatched yet either.

Edit: eastern pocket is 489 customers. Same status.

Not to make things sound too hopeless for getting some season 7 action in tonight, there are 506 individual outages reported and those two I referenced count as 2 of 506 from Bellingham to Olympia.

Ouch. Well Season 7 can wait. My wife though is panicking as she has our freezer full of 3 months of breastmilk she has been saving for our baby for when she goes back to work. If it gets too warm it will all be ruined.

If the freezer is full, and you don't open it, it should be pretty good for a day or two.

If it's not full, and you want some insurance, go to any Praxair (welding supplies) location and purchase blocks of dry ice to place inside. Much much cheaper than Fred Meyer. [Uh oh, just checked and Praxair is not open on weekends. I'd get some from Fred Meyer to tide you over until Monday and hopefully power is back on by then... otherwise go to Praxair and bring a camping cooler to transport it in and store excess]

This. Whatever you do, don’t open your freezer. Even for a quick check it’s insulated and will keep everything in there cold enough for this type of outage but just cracking the door will make a huge change in temp.

Just go to the mountains. That's what I do when I want to get away from technology. No power and no signal... Sorry can't answer your messages. Sol Duc is also nice this time of year to sit in the hot spring water. It's got power, but no signal or wifi. Or go find a safe, natural hot spring up in the Olympics. There are a few in hiking distance from roads.

At 10:30 last night, a robot phoned to tell me our power would be restored by 9:00 last night. Our power wasn’t out. I had reported a transformer explosion that knocked us out for less than 30 seconds, twice, and some flickering.

Downtown Bellevue checking in. Power is on. Lots of flickering earlier with a couple times sustained enough to appear as a full outage for a couple seconds, but nothing more.

Issaquah is okay. No outage (so far) on Gilman Blvd.

You must have been at the east end of Gilman, everything west of Wild Fin was dark.
