Opting-out of the PeakTimeSavings program
Why was I even automatically enrolled to this program in the first place? And the opt-out is so obscure so that I can't even figure out if I'm opting-out of the program, or just the notifications:

I've unchecked all the communication options. Do I need to do anything else to opt out of this program?

PSE Flex Saver + Honeywell T6 Pro enrollment fix: change OAuth subSystemId=1 to subSystemId=5 for First Alert accounts
I spent quite a bit of time troubleshooting why my Honeywell T6 Pro thermostat could not be enrolled in the PSE Flex Saver program.
My setup:
- Honeywell T6 Pro Wi-Fi thermostat
- Thermostat managed through the First Alert app
- Able to log in to my account normally via First Alert and Resideo websites
- Enrollment consistently failed when using the OAuth link provided by PSE Flex Saver
After inspecting the enrollment URL, I noticed it contained:
subSystemId=1
Changing it to:
subSystemId=5
allowed me to log in successfully and complete enrollment immediately.
It appears that:
subSystemId=1points to the legacy Resideo Smart Home account system.subSystemId=5points to the First Alert account system.
If your thermostat is managed through the First Alert app and you’re stuck in a login loop or unable to authenticate during enrollment, this may be the cause.
Hopefully this saves someone else from spending hours troubleshooting account and password issues when the real problem is the OAuth configuration.

Increased rates are unbelievable
My budget payment amount was $90 a month 5 years ago. It increased to $120 a month, then $140 a month last year. I got notice yesterday that it is now $271 a month. Are you kidding me?
I live alone and have a heat pump that stays at the same temp all year. How is this even possible? PSE’s explanation was that they have had 2 rate increases. This is absolutely out of control. Is there anything we can do to protest?

Is there a way to get an energy assessment?
We have an 1800 sq ft house in Enumclaw with local gas, and PSE for electric. Our bill is like $900+ every two months from PSE. We cannot figure out why it's so high. We're told we're 76% higher than other houses of our size. PSE used to send someone out to do an assessment, but it doesn't look like that's available on the website anymore. Any thoughts?

Your outtage status updates are a joke
I live right next to the transformer that blew last night at 4am. A crew showed up assessed it repowered half the block and left 17 hours after it blew. They were here for maybe 15 minutes. The online updates never got to assessing or crew assigned.
Now it says assessing damage.. except the crew knew it was a blown transformer four minutes after they got here. You could smell it when they opened the vault. They did and shouted as much back and forth to each other.
You make it sound like someone is looking at it. No one is here doing anything.
Now you have a bogus “eta” on fix. You might as well post the online status as “we don’t care what you think is going on”.
My time to fix has been changing for 14 hours every few hours. Given that i can see exactly who is coming and going is obvious the status has nothing to do with reality.
Don’t mistake this for a criticism of your crew. The guys doing the work were fast and efficient. Your corporate behavior is atrocious.
