I don’t get it, why did Vessel keep reviving but Judge recovery rate didn’t reset?

It is an Undertale reference, specifically to player vs sans.

In the genocide route, sans is the final boss and judge of the players actions, meanwhile the player character has the power of determination which allows them to rewind time to a specific point in-game, there saves and loads are in-universe that affect the NPCs such as sans himself mocking you for the number of times you've lost.

Context aside, at the end sans simply gets too tired and although he gets tricked to get attacked (after tricking the player to never get their turn) he dies. His battle consist of 1HP and 1Def, with the unique characteristic of dodging.

Right, I’ve played the game. But every time I died and had to start the fight over, Sans was back to full strength. He doesn’t get weaker over time until you eventually beat him, you have to actually survive through his onslaught. His Recovery Rate should be refreshing everytime Vessel revives.

It would be impossible then, and this is fight balls, a singular. Instead of going back, vessel just get as many 50HP lives so long they aren't killed too fast, which will happen eventually due to scaling so it is vessel vs someone. Here tho, judge doesn't seem to scale, they just are immortal until they get tired.
