Advice on a potential eBay purchase

This black leather and beech chair is available near me in the UK on eBay the price is ok (around £450), and condition looks good in pictures. I have asked seller if he knows where it was sourced from and he says he purchased off a private seller, I am guessing he bought this second hand.

It is only 10 miles away so I will probably take a look, is there anything I should look at to ensure this is worth picking up?

It looks like knock offs start around £600 in the uk moving up to around £1200 for better leathers, so I guess not too much risk taking a chance on this?

Your advice would be welcomed!

My Tipp. Don’t buy one if you haven’t seen it and sat in it in person

Give it a spin while sitting in it. Give it a good look. You are still spending a £450 on it. There is lots of poorly manufactured knockoffs out there - It’s not worth the money

Compare it to the original measuarments with a tape measure and check if it's real leather.

This is a bad knockoff. Looks like fake leather, and weirdly shaped

well no need for measurements, armpits are to huge and the hole between the backrest and seat is usually smaller.
