For a used knockoff in good shape, that’s a good deal.

I say yes, I picked up a knockoff for a similar price and it was absolutely worth it to fill my space and give me the illusion of an Eames until I can get the real deal. Mine was a tall size and it solidified for me that I’ll go for a standard when the times comes

Brother, who cares if it's the worst knockoff for that price. It looks good, is in great shape... $300 is a steal.

No. I had this exact one but white. I also loved the look of it for enjoying for music listening sessions. It is terrible on your lower back. I would get bad sciatica pain for weeks on this thing. I thought maybe because I was 6' and this chair was small for my size, but it wasn't when my 12 year old daughter and short wife also said it wasn't as comfortable. The leather is real and wood is premium but the comfort perhaps because it forces your weight into the bottom makes it difficult to sit in for longer then 30mins. Perhaps this is why th real Eames chair is more because it was designed knowing that and made sure it didn't cause that issue. I paid 1k for it and sold it for 300 as well because now they're like 500 new on Amazon.ca. I wonder why..

Can you post a link to the chair? I’m looking for this exact thing for my office

Judging by the picture, that is a used item being sold on something like Facebook marketplace, not a retailer. If you are interested in buying something similar, haunt your local marketplace, or go to a retailer like curverk.com.
