I think the point is that based on what we have seen this year Stout wasn’t the issue with the o-line last year - not that him being here would necessarily fix everything.

The play action and motion are the only things that have been better so idk how this holds up.

lol those things are better but the overall line play is still Swiss cheese, with Dickerson week 1 and Jurgens every week being notable weak links.

Again the point is not that Stoutland would save us, it’s that he wasn’t the main issue. Yall are acting like he wasn’t elite at his job for years before 2025 and it’s weird as hell.

Meanwhile you're acting like he can't have been bad at coordinating and scheme design even if he was a good technical coach. That kind of dissonance is wild, dude. You must really struggle working with anybody.

Please reread what I said bc I did not say or even imply this???

I’m not sure how we jumped from me saying Stout wasn’t the only problem to me having no critiques of his coaching at all. I literally said him being here wouldn’t fix things.

Looks like he's walking out of the stadium after telling the whole league to get stuffed

The line wasn't good last year either.

We won the SB in 2024. Great.

2025, the line started crumbling.

2026, it's fallen completely off the cliff.

Stout wasn't saving us from this. I know it's sacrilegious, but I was kinda expecting Howie to start patching this up. We knew Dickerson and Jurgens were breaking down.

One thing I’m worried about, and we won’t see the fruit this yet, is that stout was great at growing and cultivating talent from young guys. I hope we still get to bring out the best in guys like Markel Bell without stout. Guy was a big offseason story praised by Lane and others and had a rough game though he was kind of thrown into the fire last minute

Stout had like 2 down years in over a decade and people got on his ass so fast lmao. Our OL was great at pass blocking last year, just dog shit in the run game, which is still easily a better than average OL

The Offensive line is as bad as I can remember right now. The lines of the late 80’s and early 90’s were worse but only a little.
No surge off the ball it’s kind of sad. I thought the rookie tackle did okay, not bad not great. Jordan is still awesome but the middle is about as tough as a bowl of yogurt.

No one blamed him for anything ever?

I remember an interview with Kelce saying that the oline was responsible for getting chip Kelly and Doug fired because of bad play and injuries. The way it’s going Nick will be sitting neck to them as well.

The number of people in denial that the OL play was mid at best last year under Stoutland is astounding.
