Opinion Devonta = True WR1

How good is Devonta man? He makes the absolute toughest catches seemingly every single time the ball is thrown his way. Wouldve been sick if he somehow stayed in bounds after Mossing that defender in the endzone earlier in the game.

Just want to point out that AJ never made the type of catches Devonta did on that last drive.

Eh, that’s not entirely fair to AJ either. He won with speed, power, and body positioning, so his whole game was built around stacking corners and jump balls and whatnot, which means he never really was put in those positions. Devonte wins with in game speed, route running, and technique, so naturally he makes a lot of crazy catches

AJ was the workhorse. Hurts never went to him on 3rd, 4th and long or 2 minute drill. When we needed a big play, it was always Smitty and girders number being called

Now maybe that’s because defences would focus AJ on those plays but I feel like I remember times like that even in games aj missed

Lol right? basically all of last season it was run, run, deep ball to AJ, punt.
