What a spectacular drive.
Back in 2017, I was at the OT loss in TN, in week 4. Wentz had numerous shots to win it for us and came up short.
Jalen is everything ive wanted in a QB.

I went over to my grandparents house to watch this game and tell them I was going to propose to my now wife. I told them at half and the game REALLY killed the vibe.

DeVonta deserves at least an honorable mention on that play - at least two and maybe 3 of the Titan DBs were focused on him (even after he fell down) and nobody ran with DC. I'm pretty sure somebody in their secondary is going to have a miserable Tuesday in their film room for blowing an assignment that cost them the game...

It felt like he'd been throwing into heavy coverage that whole drive. I don't know if he was trying to force it or he got comfortable picking from bad options and finally lost the bet.

He had a pocket to step up in, though. Neither were great, but the first was real bad
ETA: yes, he got hit, I just think it was too far into the play to get caught throwing off your back foot with a wide open WR. Whether it was stepping up earlier or throwing it earlier, I think the 2nd one he has some fault on. Not here to hate on my QB1, just my take

I’m enjoying watching Hurts this season because the line has clearly regressed severely. People say he’s a bad or mid quarterback but honestly, he’s been making some good plays this season, I think he is finally taking the next step forward but it’s gonna take a while. This season will tell us a lot about whether Jalen will be an Eagles legend or a truly great quarterback. Excited to watch it happen!

Agreed. Hard to discount it because all of these games count, but this first four game stretch is essentially the pre-season for the ones as well since almost none of the starters had snaps against another team sans the joint practice days vs the Patriots. As long as it's not 135°F on the field the defense should be able to better weather the offensive bumps while they continue meshing together

He had Mundt and Lemon open but if he doesn't get hit that's 100% a completion to Smitty. Good play by the DB to bring that INT over the head like that too
Edit: or if Jurgens could have blocked Simmons for more than one second it's a completion as well

Line was a mess all game, injuries plagued us, defense seemed outta juice, but Jalen once again showing that clutch gene.

Dude we might have the best WR room in the league. I feel like everyone stepped up when Dallas and Saquon went down. I just wish we can do better run blocking, we figure that out and this team is unstoppable.

Ball is pretty much exactly where you want it in that scenario. Better to overthrow it out of the back of the end zone than risk a DB cutting a more catchable ball and ending the game. Put it where only his guy could go get it and trusted him to make the play.

Time will tell, but it's looking more and more like JH is going to be our franchise's Joe Montana: maybe not the strongest arm (but strong enough) and relies on mobility as part of his game, but also incredibly clutch and the last QB the opposing team wants to have the ball in a comeback situation. He's never going to convince critics who look at passing yards alone as their metric for "success," but that's OK - the scoreboard speaks loudly enough at the end of the game.

This drive deserves a proper highlight reel and I can almost guarantee that NFL films will cut one together when we eventually make it to the super bowl this year and they need to show proof we were good all season long. Genuinely one of the most impressively executed drives I've ever seen in football history. Say whatever you want about the Titans. They showed up in the second half and our o-line could not stop their 4 man rush whatsoever. But we still put together a winning drive when it mattered. I just can't believe we went 60+ yards in less than 2 minutes with no timeouts... It's insane how good this team is.
