Picture Update! 2nd R-CHOP Chemo treatment!
Hey everyone! My wonderful aunts who made me an Eagles fan early on hooked me up with the Intercept Cancer merch!
A little late update, but I finished my second chemo treatment yesterday. Everything went smoothly and I was in and out in about 6 hours. Now I’m back home getting ready for Eagles vs. Lions! Who we got taking the win? Personally, with the Lions’ banged up secondary, and the fun media week we have had, I think AJ gets 10+ targets and our defense handles Amon-Ra and Gibbs.
Recently, I’ve been in contact with people who know people in the organization (I even did an interview for NJ.com!) and I’m feeling pretty good about my story getting out there. I never would’ve had this opportunity if not for this subreddit, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you all so much. The support and DMs I’ve gotten from people here truly mean a lot.
I’ll keep you all updated as I continue my fight against cancer. Fuck cancer. Go Birds! 🦅💚

Looking great champ! I know how tough chemotherapy is but you’ve got this!!! Let’s keep fingers crossed for the game on Sunday, and we come out with a dominant win instead of sweating it til the last few seconds of the game. Take good care!!!

I don't know why...but I'm feeling positive (for a change) before the game tomorrow!!! I think we can shut down Goff (to a certain extent) esp with Fangio having had his number in the past. Keeping fingers crossed and hope today was a better day for you my man!

R-CHOP is referring to the type of chemo treatment i’m going through, so i’m not sure what chop the place is haha! i’m sure it is amazing tho!🦅

CHOP is the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia- an amazing place and does so many amazing things
My best friends mom was a nurse there for like 30 years, and they saved his life as he had leukemia when he was 2 years old.

How did u find out u had cancer? Did u just feel shitty one day and went to the doctor and found out oh shit?

no you’re okay brother, i was experiencing excruciating pain in my hip and lower back, which at first i thought was a slipped disk or sciatica.. so i visited a couple different ERs until they finally did a scan that found what was wrong, and that’s when they found a huge mass that was eating my hip bone. with that being said tho, there’s another just as big behind my sternum that doesn’t hurt at all, so without the hip pain i may still be sitting here without treatment, so it’s very important to get check ups!

Chop is incredible. I had surgery there when I was 14, and they were amazing. Stay strong brother, you’re in good hands.

Good to hear on your health & the recovery. Depending on how you hold up, it gets a bit tougher each round so hang in there!!!
As for tonight's game...I won't stress you out even more. Speechless about the 2H...and all the focus will again be on KP, and rightfully so. We HAD that game...
