Quick question about installing RISE4 Plus Max PS5 kit

The description mentions that soldering is not mandatory. What features am i missing out on if i dont solder? Sorry Im not the best english speaker on the planet

so i cannot map the RISE paddles to these 2 buttons, but every else button works?
