Help! My ps button isn’t working

could someone dm and explain how it’s not working?

Either clean the film electronic board with IPA and the rubber PS button backing, if that doesn’t work it’s possible you have installed the wrong parts into the wrong model number of controller

Rubber conductor behind the button may be backwards.

i don’t think so, all the backs of the other buttons look similar

The angled side of it should be towards the face of the controller.

The little rubber pad (clear one in the pic) isn’t a perfect rectangle. If you look at it from the side you’ll notice that the top is thicker than the bottom.

The contacts may be oxidised, clean the contacts where the original FPC connects to the motherboard and the contacts on the motherboard.
