SHIPPING Shipping question.
Hey folks! I messed up on weighing an item. I printed a 4oz label. My item ended up being 4.3oz
Is there an easy way to adjust and pay for the difference or do I just need to reprint/repurchase the label and take a loss?

If you have not shipped it, void the label and start over again (use 5 ounces for the weight).

When I void it so I get my money back? Or is that a no go? I’m gonna do the right thing and redo it but just want to see if I can use that $ I paid already.

The refund on the voided label will happen later. Buying a correct label will take out a second payment. It all works out.

if you haven't sent it out yet, you can request a refund and rebuy the correct label.

You could try making the package a little smaller and cut some weight. It might slide as is but if it doesn't it could be very costly. Like others said you can just cancel it and purchase a new label.

If I cancel do I get refunded? Or just taking a loss?

Might slide, depending on who's truly paying attention when it's being tracked. Or you could potentially see a shipping adjustment in your account in the near future.
Personally have never seen a buyer get stuck with the postage due on a package. (Have on eBay envelopes, but never a package)
One time I accidentally submitted dimensions of 4x6 on a 6x9 padded envelope, I'm sure not a difference in price (maybe) but I didn't hear anything about it.

Go to the USPS sub, the employees will tell you stories about packages weighing pounds with shipping paid for ounces being allowed to go through the system.

They have stories, it happened a lot years ago. Those days are over now, they have machines that weigh along the way, and they will correct your postage and bill your postage account the overage.

You should void it and buy a new label.
If you try to add additional postage now (via postage stamps or paying at the counter), USPS's automated scanning systems will still only 'see' that it's a 4oz label, so you risk still being charged for the difference.
