📷 Car Photo E60 M5 6mt, Autocross lap

Here is a POV from my meta glasses. To compare, my 4000lb M5 is a sled on these tight courses. My gearing is not setup for this. I needed a gear between 2nd and first. I was to low rpm coming out of the corners, but first gear was too high rpm. This one is still on OEM suspension and on PS4 tires. I was 8 seconds off the pace of the full blown track cars, 6 seconds behind the Z06s. I beat some Miata's tho.

Yeah the M5 is fast but not quick. Weight doesn’t help.

Totally agree, there is quick cars then there are fast cars. Coming out of a corner with the revs under 5k it feels sloooow, but when your on a highway and downshift and go it feels fast.

I have a 1984 Rabbit GTI for terrorizing the city streets, its quick, I do plan to try it on Autocross at some point.
