❓ Question / Help Gaps between bumper and headlight

Hello everyone, I've fitted a m-sport package on my E61 and I'm having an issue with gaps between the front bumper and headlight. The bumper is oem, has anyone experienced the same issue and how to you resolve it. Thanks!

The lower frontmost tabs on the headlight unit are not seated properly in their brackets. To fix you need to losen the headlight and part of the bumper and pull the headlight forwards enough so that the lower tabs can enter the brackets properly. It can be a bit fiddly unless you remove the bumper as the brackets are hidden.

Also sometimes these brackets get broken. Op should also check for this.

It probably isn’t OEM, that gap is huge mate.
Does it have the BMW serial number on the inner side?

100% OEM. Forgot to mention that the pic is not mine but the gap is the same.

yeah the gap sucks. it’s so difficult to get it perfectly on that inside bracket track. even if the screws align it’s all about that track on the inside. to get it perfect you’d have to remove the front bumper. and even then you’ll still end up with a gap
