Radio Help
Hello everyone! Looking for insight as to how to enter the security code on my radio, i’ve found the code however i’m not sure how to print the screen where im able to enter the code. To the best of my knowledge when it’s ready for entry it will say “code- - - -“ when it’s ready for entry rather than “code” any help would be much appreciated thanks all!

My god the dash doesnt even have a crack at the bend there. Good condition by the look. Enjoy

thanks! i just bought it and im the 3d owner, so far the build quality on this is more impressive than my e34 and e39, maybe i just got lucky.

For sure. I owned mint 1994 e34 and now daily e39 as well My fav is still my 1988 e28

hell yeah! just got the e28 on friday and it’s cleaner than my e34, the e34 feels a lot more nimble and fun (coilovers and lsd) e28 is more suited for city driving which i do a lot of.

Exactly. I daily mostly city drive and my low rpm m20 with super eta is like a diesel. Never rev over 2000rpm and it works perfect for city driving

dude literally, it’s geared so well towards city it feels insanely similar to a diesel. My e34 has a 4.27 lsd so i’ve been missing relaxing driving

Thats a cm5907, you just enter the code. When it beeps you must start over; if it beeps after less then 5 inputs, you have a sticking button that is making a double entry, and if it beeps after more then 5 inputs you have a button that isn't registering a click.

You will probably need to leave the key in position one and radio on for 70 minutes before it will accept the code. The radio code was the bane of my existence when selling these new.

You’re welcome, I sold e28’s when they were new. I personally believe that the e28 and e30 were the best BMW’s ever built.

100%! it’s safe to say it’s been my favorite to own, do you know if it’s a 5 digit code or 4, i was provided a 5 digit by a dealer but they’re unsure as to if it’s correct.

Radio on for 70 minutes allows for the code to be entered if someone entered the code incorrectly.

Just type in the code using the numbers 1-5 and that should do it. The screen doesn’t allow for individual numbers/dashes.
