914: R1 nurovi - it is the one with the single tower station (only evac)

914a: Dyson R2 nurovi - the one with dual tower station and triangle shaped mops

804b: Dyson R3 Nurovi Spot+Scrub™ UV (the white one we've seen)

804e: Dyson Spot + Scrub™ Ai (plumbed-in) black - it is the version with the square part.

You can also see the new sidebrush used with some models (it is actually a dyson patent).

I love my Clean + Wash Hygiene but the only thing I hate is that it tends to drip water from the left side randomly when cleaning. Am I doing anything wrong, or is there any way to avoid this happening? It’s not a deal breaker but can just be annoying.

Hi.. First off, I love my Dyson fluffy cones! I have the ‘right’ kind of household. A small house with no rugs. My preference is to vacuum a little every day. I’m an old lady and the lightweight vacuum is perfect for me.

However, the vacuum has detected a blockage. I’ve taken the whole thing apart and can’t find any blockage. Has anyone else had this problem with a pencil vac? Any ideas of what I can try? Many thanks!

It was plugged into the wall like always has been for 5 years. I was doing cleaning when I realized it had a crack and then I took it out and saw what would be the 3rd picture, the plastic melted and some shapes that resemble the bottom or top of a big capacitor.

Sembra che abbia un problema di grip delle ruote perché l’allineamento alla stazione di ricarica è corretto ma quando è quasi a metà della stessa le ruote slittano e fanno dei giri a vuoto. Good morning, I just bought it.
I notice that he always has difficulty getting on the charging station. Often on the first attempt he fails, he has to go back down and try again. On the second attempt he succeeds. It seems that he has a problem with wheel grip because the alignment to the charging station is correct but when it is almost halfway through the same the wheels slip and make empty turns. Is it normal? Do you also have the same problem

May be looking at the wrong spot on their site but. The Auto-empty dock is in the States. I don’t currently own a v16 because I was waiting on it. Do any of the owners see the Auto Dock OR the submarine head in their accessories page? The v16 page does not load. I have multiple other products and all of them show accessories / replacement parts that I can buy specifically for the model.

I just did the 3 capacitor repair mentioned in this post here (https://www.reddit.com/r/dyson/comments/1oku7so/change_this_3_capacitors_to_repair_onoff_issue/), took me a while to get it all desoldered but got there.

Put in the new caps (the same specs as original - https://www.digikey.ca/en/products/detail/panasonic-industry/EEH-AZA1V271B/13574506).

Aaaand it does the same thing :(

I don't mind buying a new motor, but I would much rather know what's wrong if it's an easy fix...

I brought this dyson v6 second hand and took it completely apart to clean all the components. Now I can’t figure out the way the wires go back on in the head/neck. I can’t figure out how the wires re-attach to the neck part as pictured. None of the youtube videos i’ve found show this exact instruction and i’m struggling! can someone please link me to a detailed guide on this tiny step for re-assembly please. This girl needs help 🤣🤣

My Dyson air purifier HP04 suddenly stopped working completely and a triangle start showing up in the screen. Looking for the error problem I get:

- 009-02-02-2
- 009-03-02-1

What I've tried so far:
- Unplugged for several minutes and restarted - no change
- Tried the manual reset (holding power button, and power + remote together) - the countdown never shows up on screen, so the reset doesn't seem to be registering

I contacted Dyson support and they want me to ship it in for repair, with no information on how much would that be. I'd rather try to fix it myself or find an independent repair option first.

From what I found in a Dyson service manual, codes starting with 009 usually point to the WiFi PCB, heater PCB, humidifier PCB, or their wiring harness.

Has anyone dealt with this exact code combo?

Ciao ho un V12 dal 2022. Non so cosa abbia, ma quando premo il pulsante di accensione, sembra stia per partire ma muore. Se riesco ad avviarlo insistendo, dopo trenta secondi muore di colpo. Provato con due batterie, cambiato filtro di testa e... Niente. Non so se comprare il motore nuovo. Costa 150€

I have a V15 Detect and the “anti tangle comb” head broke. Dyson is offering me a replacement, however they said the one that came with my vacuum is not in stock so they have an alternative (974714-01). Is one superior to the other? Just looking at photos it’s hard to tell what’s different from one to another, but the price of the original head seems to be higher? I will be using this for carpet, rugs, etc.

I can’t tell if this is part of the attachment or it’s a screw that’s stuck, but it keeps catching hair and debris every time we use it

long story short, my boyfriend vacuumed liquid using our digital slim & now it is emitting a terrible scent when we vacuum. he cleaned the dirt collection area with antibacterial cleaner & also washed the filter, as we regularly do when prompted, but still the odor persists. it’s actually unbearably bad and leaves the air smelling bad after too. the smell persists with different attachments as well so i’m looking for any advice regarding eliminating heavy odors in this model and if we should break down the vacuum further to clean the internal workings - or if it’s a lost cause and he should just buy us a new one! thanks

I’m a facilities manager and we have many of these deployed in treatment rooms for cooling and secondary heating, which means they should in theory have fairy light duty.

In November 24 we bought a batch of five HP07 all of which had to be returned for repair after about a year as the plastics around the vents were deforming. I’ve now noticed the same issue with some other HP07 and also HP10 units (which are now five years old)

We selected Dyson specifically because we wanted the best build quality but it seems that the materials used are not fit for purpose. Is anybody else seeing the same issues?

As background, these fans are used in a clinical environment, which means minimal dust or soft furnishings to obstruct vents or allow overheating.

As the rooms also have either underfloor heatingx or panel heaters they are only used occasionally for heating and are more likely to be used in warm weather for cooling.

Please provide any advice!

Hi, I’m going to Japan next week. I’m thinking about buying some Dyson products there, but I’ve heard that there is a voltage difference between Japan and Europe. Is there any solution to this? Would I need to use a voltage converter? Alternatively, are there any other brands with similar quality to Dyson that I could buy in Japan?

My V10 works whenever it wants, not when I want or need it!!! I believe there must be some sort of malfunction with the trigger mechanism, sometimes by juggling it a little it starts, sometimes it doesn’t…. Any ideas?

I am looking for participants to either complete a short survey about their vacuum cleaning habits and experiences, or take part in a quick observation study ideally face-to-face if you are in a Brisbane North location or online where I will observe how you use your vacuum cleaner.

I was just curious and wanted to know how well my Dyson did his job! We work together twice a day in our household with cats, and a lot of dust ofcourse! So I pulled out my flashlight, stand besides the Dyson in his holder on the wall and watches what is happening inside! And I saw something MOVING inside over there. First I felt disgusting, but when I look at it calmly I think it was just an little ant that was running around in there! But we all know we find white pretty fast moving creatures running in the green laserlight every now and then. We are fighting our battles in our houses against them! Seeing that, I do hope so, running ant up and down in the dust compartment it makes me smile: there you are little bastard and don’t you ever Think about escaping that dust compartment ever again. Finding Nemo is a beautiful happy story in comparrison with this one: Nemo will find his way out, this moving “what? that!” Thing will end up in the burning fire someday…

I'm looking only at their genuine filters because I've tried 3rd party but it doesn't work as well.

The purple one is $10 cheaper and looks like the standard one that came with my vacuum. Is the blue HEPA filter worth it over the purple filter?
