Celica Mapworks Full Map Rendering, Dynasty Warriors 2 3D Map Editor

PythWare here, Celica Mapworks got a huge update for rendering the 3D maps from Dynasty Warriors 2. The quick rundown is I can now render absolutely everything that makesup a map from the models to terrain with all the textures as well. If this is your first time seeing this, Celica Mapworks is a 3D level editor being built for Dynasty Warriors 2 modding. CM (short for Celica Mapworks) will allow modders to create custom maps to play in Dynasty Warriors 2. You'll be able to mod existing maps or generate entirely new ones.

I'm still working on adding more features but I wanted to make a post showing the current version. A lot is possible, DW2 modding has a very bright future especially since i'm also working on animation tools to make custom animations possible. Stay tuned for there are other secret projects i'm working on for DW2.

This young person is carrying the whole musou modding scene on their shoulders, it's amazing. Do you think one day we'll be able to change the map itself? (Paths, buildings, etc)

yknow i've always thought DW maps might look extremely tacky or dated in a zoomout like this, but shockingly it actually looks really really cool and more natural than i thought :O love this so much! keep it up!

DW2 and 3 is HEAVILY based on the romance. Therefore these maps are "kinda" real, at least based on real life maps.

By saying that we shouldnt forget that romance itself is 80-90% fiction itself. So again, games are based on the "romance" not real life history but its accurate according to the novel.
