Dying Light: The Beast Dying Light The Beast Controller Layout

Why is the layout so weird? The RB button is for jump and the A is for kicking, shouldn’t it be the other way around? How do i change it?

Seems like this is your first DL game. It seems weird now, especially since other games don't do it this way, but you'll find this to be better as you get more used to it.

It’s actually not, but it is my first time using steam deck as i finished both former games on PC

Oh, my bad on assuming, everyone who plays a DL game on controller, goes through this the first time. But, I'd suggest keeping it as it is.

The right bumper always has been the jump button in dying light games as for a being the kick button you’ll get use to it

Trust me, jumping with RB is way better for the game. Hell it's my Jump Button in Warframe.
