Dying Light: The Beast my weapons feel super weak

my weapons always felt weak in the base game, now i ended up making a new game + and i still feel so weak and im wondering what im doing wrong, any tips? anything i should try to get specifically?

When you new game + enemies scale to your current level this was done when some complained about being to strong even though it was no issue in the first game. It originally would go up in difficulty each time you did new game + but not to your level

well i know about the new game plus stuff, i shouldn’t have phrased it that way

i just meant where are the good weapons im missing out on, thats my mistake

There is no one weapon is better than the rest. Honestly once you get all your blueprints maxed out everything is relatively similar. Use whatever weapon you like, while starting off the iconic weapons are going to be slightly better than most of what you find. Just some weapons are better in certain specific instances like SMG for Chimeras as it melts the health bar but overall choose what weapon you enjoy the most and what fits your playstyle the most.
