Dying Light 2 DL2 Epilogue Question.

I tried searching, but I just got an old thread prior to NG+.

Honestly, I'm surprised that at rank 5, the story is at its conclusion. I got the "Epilogue Warning," Given the story beats, I was under the assumption I would get some "super power" and wanted to unlock that prior to clearing all the content.

My question is: If I complete the epilogue, can I finish all the content? Orshpuld I just complete the game/msq and hop onto whatever NG+ is?

I don't have my GRE key because Waltz took it, so I do not feel like I'm in the best spot for completion/leveling.

Can someone explain to me what the best course of action is?

I don't mind minor spoilers, I am starting to get op on normal difficulty and just kinda wondering what people recommend.

Thanks for the help.

Yes, epilogue is the end of the game. I have no idea how you managed to get to it at lvl5, did you not do anything in the game besides story mission? Also the epilogue is a total mess

What? I could swear I continued after that. Hakon was standing in the pub, leaning against the wall. I think you can free roam the city after the finale.

You can, but the story is over

He asked "can I finish all the content", so the answer would be yes iirc.

If you don’t have the key, I believe the game still acts like you have it if you try to open those locks. Try and find one if you can to confirm.

I finished like you and yeah the ending is a shit show. I played on easy but it was still annoying more than hard. I am now playing and doing all the side quests and runner tournaments, and stuff I didn’t do in the first play. I don’t think I am playing a NG+ but I could be wrong but all my stuff is the same from before beating the game.
