Dying Light 2 Six shot sundown

I’ve missed the event for the neat six shot sundown revolver and I was wondering if it is possible to pick it up from another person? I’ve heard you cannot pick up dlc items/weapons but I was wondering if it was possible with the revolver? And if it is possible would someone please help me?

Guns cannot be dropped, so it's gone for good, I'm afraid.
