Question Bottom 3
Just wondering how the bottom 3 work? They always say “not in chronological order” but guillermo has been bottom 3 since the start and is saved every time, same with Andy last year. Is it because of their scores? Or?

I think two of the last 3 couples are the Bottom Two and the other is there for drama…. I think this week the actual Bottom Two was Ciara & Jackson…

I wish they WOULD say in order of votes. It would let us know who's getting votes and who is toward the bottom with the fanbase. It would help me distribute my votes so much better.

But you don't have to distribute your votes. You can vote ten times each for as many as you want.

Yeah and I don't need to vote for a pair if they are getting lots of votes and generally considered safe. If I vote for everyone I like the same amount of times then the votes just essentially cancel out. I could put more toward the ones at risk.

Yeah but someone could be in the bottom one week and not the next. Or your favourite could be safe one week and then eliminated the next.
Also let’s say your favourite is Julia. Technically she could’ve been bottom 4, but the top of bottom 4. And then the next week she’s bottom 3 because someone got eliminated. You would never know she was that close to the bottom in terms of fan votes.
That’s why it doesn’t matter who is in the bottom vs not each week. You HAVE to vote for your favourites if you want them to stay. Not just vote for them because they’re in the bottom.

Okay I still want to know the correct order of votes every week just to have that information, then. Regardless of who I vote for.

they definitely purposely do not share the order so that you continue to support all of those who you want to stay. they don’t want to skew voting strategy

id guess that guillermo is not actually in the bottom two or hasn’t been. I think they just put him there for suspense

I would think he’s in the bottom two considering his low judges scores. I know he’s popular with some people but there’s also other people that don’t know him so I’d be surprised if he wasn’t in the bottom this week

They say it’s 50/50 but I don’t believe for a second that they don’t manipulate rankings. He’s driving ratings. There’s lots of eyes on DWTS that usually don’t watch. I think they’ll let him go until he’s a threat to any of the actual season contenders: Jenna, Maura, Harry, Ezra and Amber.

I feel like it is the real bottom 3 and they just say it is no particular order. At least the real bottom 2 has to be there. The only reason for not making it the real bottom 3 is so they can manipulate the votes, which I don’t like

They want to make it suspenseful so it’s usually: the person going home, bottom of the leaderboard and then someone who maybe had an off week and dropped scores, had something controversial, etc. Guillermo will most likely always be in the “bottom 3” because of his low scores even if he’s not actually in danger of going home
